About HS Lab:

The Human Sensing Lab is a research Lab in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University which started in 2008. Our goal is to model and understand human behavior from sensory data (e.g. video, motion capture, audio). Our work is motivated by applications in the fields of human health, computer graphics, machine vision, biometrics and human-machine interface. Research in the laboratory has been generously supported by federal agencies, including NSF, NIMH, DARPA and ONR, as well as private industry.
